The flagbearer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama, has announced that one million women will benefit from the National Women Bank he plans to establish if elected. This initiative is part of his agenda to promote gender equality in the country. In a media address on Sunday, July 7, Mr Mahama explained that the National Women's Bank would help women finance their small and medium-sized businesses.
